Lespac.com is sort of the Quebec version of ebay. A seller put up 2 Sony carrousel players for sale, one is a 400 cd model and it is loaded with cd's. The second is a 300 cd model and it contains 125 cd's. Asking price was $600 and I got it for $500 for both carrousels and the 525 cd's they contain...all original with the jackets preserved in a binder.
I'll be picking them up in the Quebec City area on Wednesday. Hopefully I'll like most of the 525 cd's. Anyway, not too shabby at less than a buck a cd and 2 Sony carrousels to boot!

Wow, that's a really cool deal! Like you say, hopefully the CD's are good choices. Don't know how varied your tastes are, but I'd be really excited about it broadening the horizons a bit.George Grand wrote: »

Nice score Joe. I'm thinking about the SDAs that are local for 130$

That's not even worth thinking about. You should have them already:D"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Ok, it was a 5 hour round trip and I got the players and the cd's and I must say I'm pretty satisfied. Lots of new music, lots of good titles. I have maybe 10 doubles...I'll sort out my cd collection tomorrow.
