    Hi Bernal,

I have the said player and find it to be a great bang for buck player. If you are looking for a player that does everything, you cannot by-pass this player.

For me personally now, I have added a dedicated CD player and find both the PS3 and my Toshiba HD-DVD player upscale video better (PS3 and HD-DVD player connected via HDMI also). I now primarily utilise the Oppo player for SACD playback only, through HDMI, for which I find very satisfactory - hope this helps.

I found the upconversion to be great.

    The SACD playback was good.

    The redbook playback was poor.

    JMO
    YMMV
