A kid got diagnosed with swine flu at a school about a mile from our house.

He's at home recovering quite nicely, and the school stayed open....What a concept.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

    it is the flu afterall.. some times people forget it's the flu.. not SARS or something more dangerous.

    I'd actually like to get the swine flu so that I would be immune to it from here on out. Swine flu party anyone?

    My daughter was mad this morning. Even though she doesn't go to that school, she expected all the schools around here to close. :rolleyes:

    Of course if this brand new, previously unkown flu virus turned out to be the next pandemic with a death rate of 25% or higher then we would all be singing a differant song. It is just a matter of time before either evolution, or somone in a lab, creates the next world-wide pandemic.
