RM8 with RM75 package...

I picked up the RM75 5 speaker package yesterday and am thrilled with it. However, I want to add 2 more speakers for my 7.1 setup.

My decision is whether to just add 2 more RM7 speakers for a complete 5 speaker match or add the 2 RM8 package and use them as from L/R speakers and move the 2 RM7 to the back as RR/RL speakers.

My only concern is how well the RM8 speakers will go with the RM7 center, which came with the RM75 package. Will the RM8's mesh well with RM7 center or should I just stick with more 2 RM7s?

FYI I have a Mirage S8 as my sub for this setup, if that makes a difference.

Thanx for reading.

I use the rm 8's for sides and rears. If I were I would look into upgrading my fronts and center to something in the RTi line. You can find the rti a bookshelves on polk direct for almost the same price as the rm8's, then you could get an CSi A4 center and have a really nice sounding system for the money.
I think the rm8's sound pretty goo with my fronts, I wish they had more bottom end, but I will take care of that in the future. Right now I'm getting ready to order an svs pb13 ultra sub, and that will be it for a long while.

The RM8 will be perfect and that's a good idea.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanx for the input.

I ended up finding a really good deal on the RM85 package(price was about the same as what I paid for the RM75's, plus it included a fre set of Polk Outdoor speakers too), so I decided to just go with the RM85 package and will be returning the RM75 package. I also added 2 addition RM7 speakers for a 7.1 setup.
