yes they will my 198's just keep sounding better and better, and thinking of putting the 194 in the 2.3 when I have the money, did you ever get a connect cable for those or a tweeter gasket?

    Very nice looking.
What did you use to finish them, meaning stain and finish coats?

    Thanks!

I first used the ortibal sander with 120 grit paper, Then i hand stroked it with 300 grit paper with the grain.

Then i took some Rust-Oleum Painters Touch Black Gloos paint, With a soft rag i wiped the black paint into it. I did this twice to get the look i wanted.

I then took some Polyurethane, and coated it. I put on about 10 coats.
I wet sanded inbetween coats with 600 grit paper.

Takes some time to do this but the finish you get is Beautiful.

    Larry.

Just pulled out my RT55i's out of the bedroom and set these up. "Much Better" night and day I even pulled out the sub as these do not need it, and the wife likes them as well. I see the 55's going into a garage rig.

Thanks Guys!! I really like them. paid $150 for them, and put about $125 into them. not bad considering it looked like i pulled them out of the garbage. I did pull the top and bottom off to finish them, The staples in them are about 1.500 long with glue. it took some time taking them off.

It was a fun project as well, now on to the SRS 1.2's. I will be doing a full upgrade on these though when i am done they will be 1.2tl's. With the RDO198's + a full upgrade on the x-overs.

Again thanks for the nice comments.

    Larry.
