Peerless 3.5" woofer/passive radiator?

Has anyone ever had any experience with these little guys? I've always wanted to include these on a project, but just couldn't justify the the cost. PE has them on buyout for about half of what they sell for at madisound, and I was thinking of pulling the trigger on a few to "play" with. What do you guys think? I can just think of all kinds of fun projects to do with them:D

    I don't know, very low sensitivity and significant break-up around 5K Hz.
    Little mini monitors or a mid in a 3-way. 3-way x-overs are notoriously difficult to design for us mear mortals.
    I guess it depends on what you want to do.
    If i was going to do a mini monitor, I would use at least a 4 1/2" woofer.

    I really liked the idea, that they are designed to be used with a passive radiator. I'm thinking super low profile center channel, and custom satellites. I just seems like it would be fun speaker to make some projects with:confused:
