Bat For Lashes on Letterman

I saw this band Bat For Lashes from the UK on David Letterman last night....I thought they were pretty good!
So much so I scored a promo of their latest CD off the bay.
Latest is "Two Suns"....checked out the samples on Amazon.

Was just wondering if anyone else has checked em out or heard of them?

    Wasn't really familiar with Natasha Kahn, but what a pleasant voice ! And I don't mean that in a "Damn with Faint Praise" sense; she definitely sounds very nice, even on the Amazon sampler.

    Some Amazon reviewers point to an earlier album called "Fur & Gold" that they liked better (less over-interference in the production studio), but .... an interesting artist to check out.

    .... plus she looks pretty cute. :o

    Another Girl singer you don't ever hear anyone mention anymore....Mazzy Star which is another great listen...dunno what ever happened to Her?

    I love Mazzy Star... always found their music quite haunting.
    I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down.
