One of the best albums ever.

Hey toolforlifefan. I just seen that Alice in Chains has a greatest hits SACD. correct me if I'm wrong, but that music seems right up your alley. Do you have it, and if you do, how is the sound quality. I really want to hear an SACD, but I can't find any music I would listen to on them so far. This Alice in Chains one might be the only one I have found that I would like. I have their unplugged DVD, and it sounds amazing, is the greatest hit's comparable if you have heard it.

I know I am assuming that you have heard these recordings, but anyone who likes Tool as much as you, must like Alice in Chains too.

I know this is off topic, but I would love to hear some opinions on this SACD.

From everything I've ever read, the AIC SACD doesn't really do the format justice. The song list is still good of course, but it seems that a lot of people really prefer the regular redbook versions. I'm planning on checking it out myself eventually.
