I will split costs with you on a pair of SDA CRS speakers for center channel use. Anyone interested? I'm looking to pair one with my SDA II's so you could do the same with your SDA's for home theater use or 5.1 SACD or DVD-A. Come on. You know you want to.:p

Just curious, would this even make a good center being that one of the drivers is stereo and the other is dimensional?

Not at all saying it is not a good idea, just trying to figure out what the other driver would be doing without the IC cable. Let us know Polk Guru's.

If it is the paired woofer with one tweeter design, would substituting a monitor 10 crossover solve the SDA split driver issue?
    Which tweeter is it?

Could you just run a jumper wire from the sda Innerconnect port to the negative post to bypass the sda effect.

I believe it is the SL2000 tweeter, although it may be the SL1000 tweeter. They have the two tweeters by the way. The tweeters also say Silver Coil Dome and have a silver ring around the center dome.

By the way, just to throw this out there, if you are interested, the seller has a stand being included in the sale as well. I think all you have to pay is the shipping for it and it is free.

I sent you a PM, there are various series of CRS's and the year help determine which MW's it has. Unless you can pull the MW for the model number that would be great. That should cut down on shipping.

I have the technology. It would work just fine.
The only concern I have is matching the finish to what people have. My work is posted in many places here.
    Latest projects.

I have the Walnut veneer. Could you make one for me? I would want the SL1000 tweeters to match my SDA's now and some MW5003 drivers as the midranges. That and a PR. Would that sound as open as my SDA's? And how much would it cost to make? All of the materials can be used to keep the price down. I would not want to pay much more than $150 shipped for it though...

I'm using a LSiC for a center with my SDA SRS 2.3's. They blend very well and the center is not overpowering on voice.

Your nuts. It is alot of work, and the drivers alone would cost that. I don't make dodo for money off Polkies. I charge parts and a small fee for labor.

    Yes Ben,

    I will need a center from you, 8 feet long, I have like 9 MW6509's, maybe we'll use them with 4 RD0-198's!!!

All my experiments have proven a single tweeter is best. 4MW's would be best, or an alternative driver.
