09 cup playoffs off to good start

I realized I have made a thread for the nhl playoffs every year since I started guess I shouldn't stop now. I know its only me and a few Canadiens on here who give a **** but here goes.

Well my pens are doing well by embarrassing the much hated philly with the comeback in game 6. However, I have a much greater hatred for new jersey and loved seeing the amazing comeback by Carolina last night. Even if not true, I blame the devils for the downfall of the NHL in past years for their extremely boring defensive play. Too bad I couldn't watch the game live since Versus SUCKS but satisfying nonetheless.

So with NJ loss and Caps win, we now have probably the biggest hyped matchup with Ovechkin against Crosby and Malkin. If the Caps play like they did with Rangers, I see no problem with the pens walking all over them. But momentum can change so quickly in hockey you never know.

So, whos team is still in? Go PENS!

    The playoffs didn't last long for my beloved Habs.:(Guess I ll be hoping for Carolina or the Pens as I would like to see Eric or Jordan Staal raise the cup.Im a fan of both as they played their Jr hockey locally .

    I'm actually getting sick of hearing about the Staal's. Yes I know they are good and deserve the respect they have earned, but when you have to hear about them EVERY F&*(ING HOUR OF EVERY F#$@ING DAY.....

    GO Canucks GO!!!!!!! Last Canadian team left and I've been a fan since I was a kid. Two previous appearances in the the cup perhaps 3rd time lucky. Luongo, the Sedin twins, Kesler, Burrows. Everyone on a roll with the team peaking. Now if we could only trade Sundin back to Toronto maybe. Completely unimpressed with his contribution to the team. Feels like when Messier was a Canuck again. Dead weight that cost $5,000,000.

    I don't see the Ducks having the same success with the Red Wings. Even though the sharks won the president trophy, Detroit's still the overrall better team IMO. Its really amazing how every year for like the past 15 years, they have been in the top 5 in the league

    I used to be a big fan, watched a lot of regular season games and every cup series game. That was then, this is now.

    Ever since the strike, I haven't been able to get back into hockey. It seems very hard to find TV coverage. I don't think I've watched one game this whole season.

    By the way, my team, The Wings. Grew up outside Detroit.

    Saturday night my Canucks came out strong and then the train went right off the rails. Chicago totally owned them for two periods. 6-3 Chicago. Series tied at 1-1 moves to Chicago.

    Any of you watching the pens caps series will not be dissappointed. Once again the pens outshot the caps by good margin but their goalie is showing up to play. Game 7 tomorrow, even if you hate hockey don't miss it.

    Canucks out to a hungrier Black Hawk team. Now that the Canucks and all other Canadian teams are out I must cheer for the team I always cheer for when all Canadian teams are out.....Chicago. Go Hawks!!!! I even own a hawks jersey. Been a fan since I was a kid and before Vancouver had a franchise.
