here are some pics of the setup....rt800i`s in the front,cs400i center,rt35i`s for the surrounds...PSW 450 rocks the place..denon 1802 receiver...denon 1600 dvd player...Mits 46809..due to be isf calibrated for the first time on Mar. 12...

just got to love thoes mits they rock like polks brice pre performance. at least your tv dont dwarf your mains lol. my 800 tops come up to the botom of the screen.

Ted, first off that is a nice clean looking rig. Very Nice!
I have a quick q for ya though... Have you tried to move the 800i's further apart and perhaps put the sub next to the tv?
Just from what I have experienced the 800i's really give a good stereo image when moved apart and toed in to the sweet spot. Just a thought while your playing around.

I did the toe in thing with the 70's i have and it does sound good, the 70's are just the updated 800's... my sub is kitty corner in the right corner of my room up front and seems to do better angled in the corner rather than straight forward..MY HT RIG:

Wally....calibration will be done by Eliab at Avical.com....I have read alot about his calibrations over at home theater spot.com...he actually is a moderator for the Toshiba section...if you call him ,let him know that I refered you....I`ll let you know how it goes in March...H bomb...never tried that set up...I`ll do it tonight when I get home...thanks for the tip

Nice rig. Ditto HBomb - my 800's are 10 feet apart and toed in - they image very well and the soundstage is solid with no drop out in the middle. Give it a try!"What we do in life echoes in eternity"
