Pretty amazing deal for a 4xHDMI input receiver, no? Or is there something about this Yamaha receiver that people need to know about that isn't known?

Not a bad price but I think I would still go for two less HDMI inputs and the beefier amp on the 663 from an authorized dealer. Like below

Somewhere I have a thread entitled something like Yamaha or new receivers go on a diet..where I compare specs for the 663 and the 665.
apphd...is quite right about the scale down in power and weight, etc.

The amp section on the 663 is nothing to brag about---I speak from experience. But it works well as an entry level prepro. Same might be true for 665.
