I think Doro had some. The tweeters are peerless, but they are lacking in the bass department for obvious reasons. Also the mid drivers are an off size like 5.5's IIRC. I would like a set just for the heck of it if they could be had real cheap.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I've got these on my watch list...I'd never seen these before either.

Eventually I'm going to setup a secondary HT system in my bedroom, probably utilizing the vintage Monitor series speakers. I saw these and thought they'd be great surrounds matched up with my 7A's up front. I'd love to build a custom center channel to go with it using two MW6502's and a single Peerless tweeter.

From the sounds of it though, these speakers aren't the best sounding. I'll probably just end up going with some Peerless 5Jr's when the time comes. Either way though, that system won't be coming along for several years yet.

I think most people regard them as crap... a collectors item for those that must have every vintage polk model. I mean, what can you do with a mid that's barely as big as the tweeter???

That said, I've never heard them, myself. Just going on what others have said.
    Ludicrous gibs!

I figured that they might make decent surrounds or a center in a vintage HT system. Probably better off with the Monitor 4, 4.5, 4.6, 5jr or the newer Mini-Monitor that came out around the time of the S and LS series. I like how the little Peerless tweeter dominates the front bezel. If nothing else, they are a conversation piece (among Polkies anyway).
