Well, I picked it up this morning and I am finally getting around to hooking it up. I need some help though. I have a pre-out for a sub but the manual says this sub has a crossover and to not connect it to that output and to use the main RCA outputs.

I have my mains currently connected to my amp and the amp is using the main RCA outputs on the AVR. So, basically I need help. I'm not completely retarded but I don't want to **** anything up. Help please. thanks

You can go straight to it with you LFE out. I have one and I'm running it this way fine.

I bought an RCA and a Y adapter and I have it plugged into the subwoofer pre-out on the receiver. It sounds fine. I am not sure why the manual said to not do it that way.

Local CL. Paid him $90. I was pretty embarrassed though. I swear I counted out the right amount of money before I got there. Went in the house, listened to it, said my good byes handed him $90 (I thought) and walked out with the speaker. I'm almost to my car and his wife like runs after me telling me I only gave him $80! ha. It was an honest mistake.
