I have looked at and used a fair number of the audio-related forums on the net, and I gotta hand it to Polk. They surely have the best one overall; particularly in terms of user-friendliness. And not only that, but IMO, it's one of the best-looking, and most complete in terms of features. It's also nice that you don't have to be a Polk owner to enjoy it. I have used it off and on over the last few years, but only recently became a first-time Polk owner with my eBay aquisition of a very nice pair of LSi-9's. Do ya' think my positive experience with the forum could have influenced my choice?

I have been a member of the klipsch forums since 2000, having owned cornwalls, klipschorns, a single belle klipsch, heresy II's and most recently, la scala II's. I continue to check it out from time to time, but I really enjoy it here, for the previously mentioned reasons and also for the members' enthusiasm. The klipsch forum has some very knowledgable members, but there is, IMO, less tolerance there for differing opinions, and especially for anyone touting different speakers. Of course some of that is to be expected on any brand-sponsored forum, but there seems to be, in my limited exposure, a fairly open-minded lot here. That is nice.:)

So, thanks to the folks at Polk for providing this forum, and thanks to all the posters who make it a nice, welcoming place.

I recently bought some Vintage Klipsch speakers, and looked at the Klipsch Forum...

but it is kind of lame and I get much better information here. Club Polk is very cool.
Good thought and thanks for reminding us that this is a great place!

While there a certainly 'sparks' that fly on this forum. The members, in general, while fans of Polk products are by no means mere fan boys! The range of equipment, cables, and speakers owned and discussed on this site are quite open and wide ranging. I, myself, have benefited immensely after only a bit more than half a year on this site. Already on my way to some SDAs and I now own an Adcom. The disease has spread...

If you read past the 'few' and I mean few volatile threads. It's really pretty friendly and civil.

Those threads are spicy! I think they add some character and comic relief to the whole ensemble, as long as they remain a just a sideshow.
