Thanks for all the discussion! I don't mind at all. I didn't have all that much time to post in between, but I did read all the responses and advice. All the recommendations on the A5's prolonged my decision a bit and made it kind of agonizing. In the end I decided on the A7's. I just decided that the A9's were too big for me to handle on my own. The A7's arrived last night after a couple of days, and I had time to unpack one. It was definitely a manageable speaker from a physical stand point, so I think I made the right decision there.

Visually speaking, I already knew the finish was going to be nice. But seeing it in person on a speaker the size of the A7 is still amazing. Even though I know it's MDF, the cherry cabinet looks beautiful.

I'll get the other one unpacked tonight, and get everything set up. Definitely glad I went with the Polks.

Again thanks for all the discussion and advice. I like reading these forums, so if you Polkies have any more advice, I would love to hear it.

Congrats on the A7's, I know you'll be happy. I had the same reaction as you when I first recieved my cherry A5's, they certainly look great. Keep in mind that they will sound better after 100 hours burn in.

I know this post is a few weeks old, but I don't have enough post's to P.M. But I was wondering how you liked that SR5003 with the RTIA3's.I have the RTIA3's as fronts with a polk PSW110 for a sub. Music being the most important to me, then home theater. I am about to pull the trigger on the Marantz SR5003 as 6th ave. has 25 percent off right now. I will probably do it anyway just wondering what your thought's were. I am in the same boat as I will eventually be upgrading to some floorstanding speakers.
