I had a chance to listen to several speaker models and amps made by this company while visiting a friend the other day. All I can say is WOW. Decware makes some great sounding and quality built equipment that is also great to look at.

Check out the full range driver with the tube in it!!

Check out this link to their website!

I've been looking at their speakers for awhile now. Very interesting designs that seem to get outstanding reviews. They do have a home trial period...tempting to say the least.

Steve Deckert is a good marketer.
    His electronic products are OK.
His speaker designs are... interesting. They have received good reviews from folks whose ears (and tastes) I trust.

I own one of his amps (SE-84B). It was taken out of service immediately after comparing it to a pair of Bottlehead Paramour SE 2A3 monoblock amps.

Never heard any of Steve's speaker system designs nor his modified speakers.

FWIW, I am using FE-207Es (still unmodified) and R/S 40-1354s with Dave Dlugos' wooden phase plugs... among other "Decware-like" drivers in the house. http://www.planet10-hifi.com/

I concur with all your comments. His gear is not to be mixed and matched with other designers but they are very synergistic together.
