With all the upgrades lately, I've got an extra computer laying around that I'm not using. It's not the absolute latest technology, but it'll still play anything out there including Crysis.
PC
Antec Case and NeoPower 500 w PSU
AMD 5000+ Barton core CPU
eVGA 590a SLI motherboard
Zalman CPU Cooler
2GB DDR2 800 RAM
ATI HD4850 Video Card
200GB Hard Drive
DVD Burner
I'll also throw in the following games, to get someone started:
Painkiller
Painkiller Battle Out of Hell
Star Wars jedi Knight II jedi Outcast Jewel Case
Unreal Tournament 2004
Soldier of Fortune (Jewel Case)
Solder of Fortune II Jewel Case
Serious Sam Gold Edition
Chronicles of Riddick
NASCAR Thunder 2004 Jewel Case
Tiger Woods 2006
FEAR
Project IGI 2
Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30
Pitfall The Lost Expedition
I'd like to get $300 for it. A local transaction would be great, but I'm open to shipping it as well. Looking at listings like this on eBay, that seems about fair. Compared to that machine, mine has overall better components, a better case and PSU, better motherboard, and a MUCH better video card - just a better machine overall despite the slightly lower HDD capacity.
Like the machine linked, it does not come with a transferable copy of Windows. If someone decides to buy it, we can discuss the matter of getting Windows installed offline. I can also install ubuntu on it if you'd rather go that route.
I realize that you can go buy a new computer with 'new' technology for $400, but you step into another league of quality when you build your own PC. This is not your typical Dell or HP machine, it's got quality components and would be easy to upgrade should you decide to go down that route in a year or two.

Some very nice quality parts in there, most notably the video card. If I had the money, i'd piss off my wife and buy it from you!
Anyone who needs a new computer, or a computer for a spouse/child, grab this up fast!"Dr Dunn admitted that his research could also be interpreted as evidence that women are shallower than men. He said: "Let's face it - there's evidence to support it."Best Buy is for people who don't know any better. Magnolia is for people who don't know any better and have more money to spend.
TV: SAMSUNG UN55B7000 55" 1080p LED HDTV
HTPC: Chromecast w/ Plex Media Server. Media streamed from Media Server. -
That's a very fine set of components - would cost more to buy and build yourself. Someone is going to get a nice deal!
What is local for you (from the website in your profile, Texas)?
I need to add a new desktop tower to the household, but I've been splurging on vintage audio equipment lately...... -
I always forget that part. I'm in the dallas, tx area.

You'd just need to add a hdtv tuner card, but yes it has the processing power.
The only downside that I see is the fact that its a tower case, not something that would fit in an audio rack. -
I'll give it another day or so here befire it's off to eBay.

The computer was sold locally, the games are now included in a video card sale I just posted.
