HAAAAA! The power supply in my computer burnt out so im stuck on my mom's computer...SLOW MOTION MAN! HAAAAAAA!

    After reading your comments, George Bush had NASA under the direction of the CIA (used his fathers connections) create a power surge that took out your computer. His diabolical plan is that you will not be able to post negative comments about him on the web. You thought he was not an intelligent man. I guess he showed you............. :lol:

    But, because his operatives were unable to find your secret backup computer you have proven to have the secret weapon he suspected you of having.

    Oh dang, I had the same thing happen to me in December. Here's what is going to be really fun for you. Well, at least it was for me. You are going to get a new PS thinking that will solve the problem, then WHAM, something else doesn't work. So you replace a fan or whatever, and it powers up, then WHAM, yeah, your HD is shot to crap now. Fun isn't it. I really hope for you it was just the PS and not a surge that took out a bunch of stuff. Good luck.

    Been a good computer so far, however my CD-Rom died a week or so ago too...LOL! ohh well, Im gonna lay down $610 at the end of the summer on it - that'll buy me a new video card, a 120 gig hard drive, 512 of ram, a 4.1 sound card, a new 56x cd rom...and w/e the el i put in it! LOL! Im sending the computer to the shop tommorow...lol...we'll see! LOL!

    MAX..that is pretty funny as well...yeah PRESIDENT bush...he sent a nasty surge over to my house...lol - actually my computer had been running pretty hot over the power supply for a couple of weeks and i guess it was a matter of time...

    it is cheaper to get a new case than a new power suply. unless you get a full tower like this

    Im back...im at my dad's now but my computer is fixed -- 100 dollars straight, i got a new power supply and another 256 of ram

    Uh what? My power supply died last week. Cost me $25 to replace it. It's tough to find a case that cheap. :)

    bensbargains.net is a really good place to look for computer stuff, and some audio stuff. Its my homepage! My only complaint is that a lot of the people that contribute to the discussions are total asses and only try to sound smart by looking for possible errors in others' posts. It gets old quick. But, really good deals.

    just to let you know you will not get that mych beter going from 512 to 1024 you will get more with a prossesormobo upgrade. also the videocard too you will not get all the power out of the new vid card with a older prossesor.

    to get more out of your comp i recomend a bord prossor,ram upgrade befor the vid card.
    300 for all 3 about 100 each.
    amd 2000 around 99
    512meg pc2700 around 100
    mobo 99-150


    then if you get a top of the line vid card you will get everything out of it.

    COMPUTER IS ONLINE AND WORKING SMOOTHLY! the different between 256 ram and 512 is amazing....computer runs ALOT better.
