Input Needed for Surrounds/Rear
Options
I am currently running LC265i for fronts...no center...I am replacing the sub and rears. I am also using Marantz SR5003 receiver. With my current set up I have to hang my rears on the wall. Here are my choices please let me know what sub and rears you would choose. If you have any other suggestions let me know as well.
Sub:
DSW PRO 600 or
DSW 4000
Rears:
LSi FX or
FXI A6 or
VM 20 Satellite
This is my den so I mostly use my system for movies/TV and entertaining. My entertaining means very loud music. I receive numerous compliments on my fronts. I want to make sure I replace my old equipment with something that will compare with the fronts. Do you think I need an amplifier with the new set up or is my receiver robust enough to push everything and push it well?
Please let me know your thoughts and ideas. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Love my FX 1000's for surrounds! I had a 7.2 setup - selling the center 2 though as I never use them. They are mint if you're interested: http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/recent/fx1000/

Hi Riley
If you have enough money for new surrounds and additonal amplification, then I suggest that the first thing you get is a center channel speaker.
You are missing a lot on DVD movies.
If there is a problem with placing a center, there are many solutions for that.

Mike,
Thanks for the input. I am a little space challenged with a center. The guy that configured my fronts and receiver told me that I could get away with not having a center. I beleive he has changed some settings in my receiver to use the LSI's to process the center "traffic"?? What suggestions do you have with placing a center? What do you think about the other options I listed?
Thank you so much for your input!
