Disconnected my SDA tweeters

Well, I went ahead and disconnected the SDA tweeters on my SDA2's. Felt like trying it out last night after I had sat down and listened to a few tracks... I was feeling more annoyed than usual by the SL2000's, so I figured, what better time to silence two of them :p

The difference is good, IMO. The high end is much less confused now. I hadn't really taken notice of it until the confusion was gone. I think they're going to stay that way.
Ludicrous gibs!

Change the values of the resistors on the stereo tweeters to bring the levels up to match the mids. I did the same on my original 2's and found it pleasing:)

Yeah, I haven't changed the resistors. Honestly, it allowed me to drop my Preamp back to neutral tuning. I was running the bass a little heavy to counteract the tweeters. Now, it seems to be pretty nice. I might end up changing that resister, though. Any idea what effect this has on the average resistance of the speakers?

Why don't you drop in some RDO 194's. It was a great improvement on my SDA 2B's.

Drop the main resistor by about 1 to 1.5 ohms and you will be good:)
