I consider extensive research (as well as learning all I can about the new tech topics) part and parcel to this hobby... but I'm afraid perhaps I need some help...
I've been researching and reading in preparation for making a subwoofer. I went through the entire drawn out process to determine which driver to buy - which I finished last week and placed an order. Now I'm faced with infinite application possibilities and choosing an alignment. Yes, of course, it is all fun and worthwhile... however...
Last night I had a dream. I was going through the same types of processes to make a decision.. but the subject at hand was not a subwoofer driver, nor even an alignment.. it was sex with women. I'd have sex with a woman and think technically about her SPL and extension .. then on to the next.. and the next. "Oh, this one is tighter and more musical.. but this one really has the low end punch.... but this one has such a nice cabinet (yes, I purposefully refrained from saying "a nice box.") I'm in this store going from display to display, with these women sitting on tables, legs spread.... shooweee buddy.. I've never enjoyed browsing quite so much.
