    Welcome Nick!

I really like Signal Cables XLR's. Nicely made, relatively inexpensive.

I think Frank still gives discounts to Club Polk members.

Canare has pre-made XLR using quad star. Get them from any online, pro-audio type store.

Thanks for quick responses. Have actually looked at both of those sites. I'm sure both of them are great, but which one is better? I'm kind of leaning towards the Signal Cables, I prefer the look.

    Did you look at Canare?

You didn't say what you would be using them for. Canare makes the cable in these ... if you look you will see BJC is using Canare in some of there stuff.

Plus these reasonable priced XLR's from Canare are using Neutrik connectors, pretty much considered a top quality connector manufacturer.

Either will work well, flip a coin. Blue jeans is good, as are the others mentioned. I like Franks work. I ran Signals' digital XLR between my transport and DAC for many years, nice cable.

Actually those cables aren't manuf by Canare, just using Canare and Neutrik. Canare also produces/distributes their own XLR/XLR cables.

The cable in those is 24 gauge, I believe the signals use 22.

Also Ben contributes a lot to the forums, and has helped quite a few people here ... so that is a plus, indeed.

I really like Cardas cables and they terminate any of their cables in XLR or unbalanced for the same price.

Everyone thanks for all of your help. I'm not going to need these until I buy a new surround processor, which will be a few months. But I figured I would start looking now to see if I could find any deals.
