    30-35 miles west of Bradshaw, if you had an airlift. Follow the coal route beside the river along Groundhog Ridge.. I'm not making this up, F*ckers!...My sisters, brother and I are taking our dad back home this weekend and laying him to rest beside Mom.

    I was raised in a tiny little town called Edmond. It sits on the rim of New River Gorge, with Fayetteville on the other side. Beckley is the nearest 'big' town, 30 miles south by Route 19. I looked up Jolo, just to get a feel for specifically where it was. Must have been through there several times. The state highway department's regional office was in Princeton and I used to get assignments to go that general direction all of the time. Ate lunch in Welch many a time.

    My prayers go to your family. Please post some pics so others here can get a glimpse of Gods Country.

    I spent a bunch of time driving a truck from Knoxville to Hazard, KY, then to Pikeville, KY and on to Welch WV and back to Knoxville. I know the area well.

    Nothing like driving a box truck on a narrow, steep grade, two-lane road with nothing but switcbhacks and overloaded coal trucks running up your ****. Fun times.

    Jolo is on very few maps. Welch is the last bastion of civilization before you get into the coal roads to the west. Look up the town of Ieager and you may find Jolo nearby. Jolo is a VERY small town with a mine shaft and a post office. My great grand father was the the first postmaster. His name was John Lowe. JoLo.. Thats how the trains knew where to drop the mail sacks on the trip back from Pittsburgh.

    Google Maps is your friend. It zoomed right to it! ;) And then I had to zoom out about five layers to figure out Jolo's proximity to like ... Welch. I think Edmond might be bigger. Probably not by much.... Did you do the Wiki on Jolo? That came up too when I looked up Jolo.

    Jolo is ~20 miles south of Bradshaw. WAAYY back in the woods.
    Sorry about the Coulwood town. It is now officially registered as Coalwood.. Ever read a book or seen a movie called October Sky? Homer Hickam?

    I learned to drive on those roads and just love to drive them when visiting. You just gotta know how to time accerlerating verses braking and which type of blind curve is OK to cross the double yellow line to safely "straighten" the curve. The latter requires a trained eye and is not recommended for "amatuers."

    My flat land raised wife nearly **** her pants when I open it up on those roads. One time my daughter puked cause I was taking the curves so hard. That put a damper on that specific drive.

    Lightman, I've been thinking of a new amp. A real beast. Attached is a picture of the amp and zoom of the connectors. If I pull the trigger on it, would you be so kind as to help me rig it? I think I am kind of getting out of my league here.

    Sure thing bud! Is that one two ohm stable? If so I recommend an upgraded power cord. Talk about some nice 5 way binders! Stock?

    I think it is one, definitely, two ohm stable. Didn't think of the power cord ... was planning on a 14 gauge power strip. Will that work?
