What do you think of the 7's as rears??? Im assuming that you've listened to the Fx's? I can't decide which one I want

I actually have not listened to the LSiFx's yet. Due to room constraints my
7's are on a back wall on either side of a couch which is also backed up against this same wall. Ideally they are supposed to be back and up at least a few feet from the listening position.

Unfortunately I am not getting the "surround sound" effect hoped for. I am hoping the LSiFX's will fix this. From what I've read here and elsewhere the LSiFX's will be better for my arrangement.

I bought a pair of LSifx's from a fellow Polkie which should be here in about a week.

    Hope this helps.

Wow...you've got that powerful of an amp and you aren't getting a good surround sound. Makes me wonder about the 7's

It's his room and the way he is forced to set them up. I say that based on the 7's working great in my current setup. (well, as great as they can given my room)

If it means anything - when I do get a theater set up, I plan to use Fx's on the side and the 7's I have currently in the surround back locations...

FYI - OneCall is selling the FX's right now for $689 which includes free shipping and come with the 5-year Polk warranty. They are currently out of stock but this is as good as it gets for new pair of these. As you probably know they usually retail for $999.

A used pair without any warranty will cost you in the $500-$550 range plus shipping so the One Call deal seems like a good opportunity.
