    Yep thats the idea,trying to achieve symetrical LR4 slopes.

    Seems like that would make for very single-purposed speakers, with an f3 at 70 Hz. I want mine to be able to function alone, if with limited low end.

    Do the crossovers in blu ray players really stick with THX standard for the LFE channel?

    Yes again thats part of the THX spec.

    That I can't answer I haven't jumped in the BR arena as of yet but would expect atleast some of them to have THX type bass management options.
