Why my R50 sounds like a Pro? even better than RTI A9. lol

i have a pair of R50 for 3 years. they sound like a pro, i really love them. They only cost me $200 for the pair.

I also visited local Fry's, they have RTI A9 and LSI25 as demo. I listened them, and found almost no difference compare to my R50.

I know i am a noob. A lot deep-pocket guys here know the difference of R50 and RTI A9 or LSI25.

I am happy with Polk Audio. Love them.

If you have money, a lot, you go Polk Audio; If you do not have a lot of money, also go Polk Audio, you goona love them like me.

Room acoustics. Fry's has some of the worst environments to demo audio equipment in.

LSIs won't sound dynamic enough unless they're being run by a good power amp. Don't expect Frys to have those hooked up right.

You would need to also specify what AVR was running the RTI-9s which also benefit greatly from GOOD power.

If you're running 9s on a Sony 520, for example....good luck with the sound.

Whereas R50s will sound OK with a cheaper AVR....

I also agree that the Demo situation at Fry's...not too good.
