Up next are my tried and true Monitor 50 speakers in Cherry. I have had them for about 3 years now and the have never had a trouble of any kind. I have the original boxes so shipping should be no trouble, but would prefer local pick up. I live in West Lafayette Indiana. I would like to get 125.00 plus shipping for them, but will also deliver up to 100 miles if needed. The only mark on them came from my vacuum cleaner getting to close to the bottom as shown in the picture. It is a small scuff that could be touched up but I have not gotten to it yet. The grills are perfect and with exception to the make shown, they look new. They work perfectly and I would love to keep them, but they have been replaced by a set of LSi15's

You are unbelievably meticulous to fret about so minor a scuff. Damn...we all have hit our speakers with the vacuum here and there.

That's a nice price on a good set of speakers...good entry into the Polk line. An all arounder....I picked up a couple of TSI-300s (pretty much M50s) to use as surrounds, recently, I liked how they sounded with my new Adcom so much it took weeks for me to stop running them in 2 channel? Nice highs, clear mids, decent lows...though a sub is in order. At 125 they look pretty mint to me.

    Someone should speak up.

    I'm giving this a bump!

Good luck with the sale. Am envious of the new LSI-15's though!

I am uncertain as to the differences between the two. I believe your speakers use 6.5" drivers where the monitors use 5.25". The monitors are a very crisp speaker to my ear and have nice detail thru the midrange for an entry level speaker. I was not thrilled with the lower frequencies, but I use a sub so this was not a serious drawback for me. If you are looking to run towers for all 4 corners in a surround setup, these would be a nice addition for either front or rear duties...

I sold them off forum to my next door neighbor along with the old Yammi, the energy satellites with sub and the dvd player... for 350.00 I think he will have a nice starter system going... and he may even get the upgrade bug from me as well:p
