I haven't used those but they should be very effective for using at first reflection points.Arthur Noxom the man behind Acoustic Sciences is a pioneer in the area of room aoustics.

How much room do you have? I would rather use something that can also absorb bass waves.

What are you looking to achieve?less side wall reflections, reduction of slap echo's,or trying to control a bass/midbass room mode?

The ASC panels will only be effective for reflections, they won't help with low frequency room modes.

Another option and I think more economical would be these guys. http://www.gikacoustics.com/

Guitar Center has a bunch of stuff to do just about anything, might not look as pretty.

I have 2 Monster Bass Traps and 4 244 panels from them in my living room. They really helped get rid of echo and some bass nodes. I should be ordering a few diffusers from them soon too.

Panels of that size would be great for reflections, especially high frequency.

If you're room has an echo that is causing fatigue on loud music from the tweeter, go for it.

If you want a more holistic treatment, keep searching.

Great products at reasonable prices.I see they have added two different diffuser designs since I last visited their site.

I was about to pull the trigger on their newest diffuser, the Elite Poly, but was told the cost would almost double if I wanted them in another color.

Thanks guys, i will call GIK about room kits. i just thought the price was right on the ones i found. i am going to see them tomorrow none the less. room treatments is new to me so trying to find what i may or may not need is a pain. i just want to tone the room down, a couple of bass traps sound like a good idea as well.

I have been told you don't notice a big differance putting them up. but when you take them down is when you really notice how it changed it all. not sure how true this statement is as i have never had them.

Each of the 3 pairs made a different, some more subtle than the rest. One pair helped with the low end, one pair really helped with echo, and the third pair really killed the sound of the room and I had to mess with their placement.

Well the guy on craigs list let me take these home today for a demo to see if i liked them with no money down!! gotta say they changed my room big time. I like them, they helped clean up the highs and lows. Was not sure what to expect as i have never had them, the bass is deeper, and the clarity is much smoother. I don't see me taking these back. For those of you not sure about room treatments try them.

This is the same guy i got the SDA SRS 1.2's from.
