I have decided to use a pair of these since nobody offered any advise !

Le - 0.3484 mH (at 1 kHz.)

I will be wiring the polk M311's in series to create a 16 ohm impedence to run as my center channel speaker. The reason for this is that at 8 ohms the center channel seems to override the rest of my speakers, thru experimentation I've found that the 16 ohm load matches the audio out put of my other speakers in volume & overall compatibility to my ears.
Any thoughts or comments on this are welcome.:o -
Well, with no help from you guys I bought the Polk replacement speakers & just decided to build a center channel speaker out of them with a 2-way cross-over & a tweeter, turned out great !!
I also rebuilt the 3II's which the rubber surround was trashed on the woofers, no foam repair kit, or anything like that I used denim, elmers glue, & black spray paint, they sound great again & I did'nt have to buy a kit or replacement speakers, it was real cheap & easy, no cost.
Thanks everyone who helped me out on this , -
ok I have to see a picture of this, and welcome!
