What are the nuts for?:confused:To be used as a jam nut? How about the extra metal on the cable side that sticks out past the spade? For solder?

    Yes, jam nuts. I'm not sure what you are asking in your second question. There should not be any extra anything sticking out past the spade.

    It's for spring clip connections. He means the stub after the threading F1.....is my thought.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I think if you have spring clips and are using MIT cables...you might be going down the wrong path.
