You know when I was your age we weren't supposed to trust people over 30! Now old enough to be your parents, a lot of us sound like we're a bunch of curmudgeons...just look how 'set' some are in their ways.

Perhaps we're geezers, but I have an 11 year old who thinks I'm more immature than she is?

    39 but feel much older.

I remember not that long ago I felt like a truck could run me over and I would just dust myself off and carry on. Now someone just bumps into me and I have to do a check to make sure everything is still in its proper place. I feel so fragile.

I hit 51 but feel a lot younger and most certainly act a lot younger. Started boxing lessons last fall for a short while and will be taking it up again real soon. Instructor was quite surprised at my stamina and endurance for a guy who doesn't really do any exercise...must be all that running around at work I guess.

I'm PLENTY NINE and holding. Old enough to remember that I was driving when JFK was shot, heard about Woodstock on Armed Forces Radio during the S.E.Asia war games, helped Janis Joplin to her feet at the old Coliseum when she fell down trashed. She had green, red, and purple hair that day. I remember all too well when Hendrix OD'd, Morrison OD'd, etc. I've had white hair for decades now. Solid state crap was still on the drawing boards when I was rockin.

Harry, I started getting white hair when I was in my 20s....it runs in my family.

Did Janis have any comment or at least say thanks?
