Moving Vinyl?

Ok, I need to get about 1200 albums from my old house to my new house. I'll actually be doing the moving, so I don't need to worry about some dumbass mover stacking the boxes, but I do need boxes.

Any suggestions for cheap boxes that are the appropriate size and can take the weight? This is 100% temporary- no storage, no need for anything nice once they're moved.

Bankers boxes - perfect size. By a case of 15 for $25. Cheap and weight-holding properties don't go together.

Staples sells plastic crates that are similar to the old milk crate style we all stored our records in. Relatively cheap.

Several U-Haul stores in Tucson still sell the proper boxes but, they call them something other than LP boxes, I wouldn't use any milk crate like ones as they aren't the right size and leave 1/3 unprotected on the top.

Yeah, I have a few of those & I'm not crazy about them- size is a little off, so the vinyl rattles around and gets banged up by the flimsy plastic on the bottom. I'll see if I can find some bankers boxes that'll fit right.

Stop by a beer store, some of them will give you beer and liquor boxes.
