All CD changers let you enjoy hours of uninterrupted music, but not all CD changers are the same. There are critical differences in disk loading convenience, internal disk handling, ease of operation, and sound quality. And it just so happens that these are the areas in which Nakamichi MusicBank CD players excel.

Nakamichi's ingenious MusicBank system features an internal stocker mechanism that holds up to seven Compact Disks. The direct loading design makes inserting and ejecting disks extremely quick and easy. The changer does not use cumbersome magazines, nor does it have a disk tray. It is as easy to use as a single-disk CD player; yet you enjoy all the multi-disc benefits of a changer.

The MB-2s incorporates ultra-high-resolution dual 18 bit Burr-Brown D / A (digital-to-analog) converters that are characterized by exceptional linearity. They ensure extremely wide dynamic range and low distortion. Musical nuances are revealed with extraordinary precision, and the smooth, untiring quality of reproduction makes extended listening a pleasure.

Specs:
• Dual 18 bit Burr Brown D/A converters
• 7 disc vertical stacker mechanism
• Super Fast disc access
• 8 times oversampling digital filter
• Frequency Response 5-20,000 Hz +/-0.5dB
• THD 0.005% (1kHz)
• Signal-to-noise – Better than 96bB
• Dynamic Range – Better than 92dB
• Channel Separation – Better than 92dB
• 75 Ohm digital coax output
• Variable Headphone output
• Remote Control
• Weight 12 lbs.

Unit is in excellent condition considering age, a solid 8/10. No obvious scratches, face plate is in great condition. All displays function properly and the led’s are nice and bright. I take great care of my gear and it’s hardly ever been moved.

Unit operates flawlessly one of the fastest multi-players I’ve used. Remote is in excellent condition as well. I have the manual but no original box. In the photo you can see a “stocking” tag the store put on it. I’ve left it on there as you can’t really see it.

This is a very analog sounding cdp. Great dynamic range, smooth and still retains all the detail in the music. I’ve enjoyed this player and its convenience for about 7 years. Since moving to the Squeezebox Music server I don’t use this anymore. It would be a shame to let it sit in a closet. Built very solid and with the audiophile in mind. Separate power sections for analog and digital as well as being fully discrete, no opamps. Original retail of $750

Club Polk Price $125 plus shipping. Will go to Audiogon eventually at a price of $150

Post interest in this thread as well as a PM. I have the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason. Paypal add 3% personal checks from Polkies I know or who have a great track record.

Have remote and original owners manual. One of the few pieces I no longer have the original box for, will be packed well.

UPS ground to a residential address is about $17 on the estimater so let's say $20 as I just estimated the box size and weight. If it's over I'll eat the extra.

I am across the street from a UPS drop site so that's what I prefer to use.

Let me know as I was going to post this to Audiogon tonight.

    Thanks

Foxie, I have 1 offer from Audiogon that came in before yours. It is not a confirmed sale. I will get back with you after I determine if that person is serious about buying it. I will contact you Friday and let you know. If the Audigon offer falls through it's yours and we can discuss the details then.

    Regards
