hey toolforlifefan, got a dumb newbe question for ya. Did you use that sc-07 with the a9's before you got the emotiva? That receiver is 150 wpc? I just picked up the 92 elite(130 wpc) with the intentions of not getting an amp. Now I find myself in love with those a9's. Don't want to underpower them, but I'll need a prybar to cram an amp in my rack. Looking at the xpa-3 as well if I have to go that route. Thanks ahead..

I had the emotiva before the SC-07, I have run the A9's w/o the emotiva and they sound great. But the bass is fuller imo with the external amp. the XPA-3 is a great amp for the price.

Thanks for the feedback, as long as I can run the a9's adequetly with the 92 for now, I'll figure out where to sqeeze in the amp in the future. good luck with the sale and happy Easter
