Outside speaker wires

Need some help,

I am installing a P.A. system for a baseball field and I was wondering if there was such a thing as outside speaker cable?

My Gear

Phase Linear 4000 preamp
Cambridge Audio Azur 640c v.2 CD player
Dual 1219 Turntable
Two Harman Kardon Citation 16 amps
Monitor 50 speakers Bi-amped...
(dieing to upgrade to rti A9)
KLH Tremor Series sub (10 inch 125 watts)

    Yes there is. Inside wire won't hold up to the sun, and the insulation will crack. I would check Partsexpress.com for outdoor wire.

    Malibu outdoor lighting wire. Great stuff & priced right. Pick it up at Home Depot or Lowes.

    They also have a plain, brown copper wire in up to 12 gauge, not sure if it's the Malibu brand, but I use it for speaker wire all the time. @ $.50/foot.

    I just purchased some outdoor wire for my back patio speakers. Monoprice is the ONLY way to go. It's quality stuff and on the cheap, $.27/foot!
