OK - Who's Getting Four Feathers and/or City By The Sea?

Both of them got kinda panned on Rotten Tomatoes and I think I might rent first.

Four Feathers looks epic, though - I was all set to pull the trigger and then the reviews gave me pause.

Has anyone seen either and what are your opinions?

    Picking up
    The Four Feathers
    Stargate SE
    Spy Kids 2

Have not seen TFF, but it looks good and I'm a fan of Heath Ledger. Plus the epic-ness, like you said, looks cool.

    Peace Out~:D

BTW Doc, I am still floored by the results from porting the sub. Had some friends over a couple weeks back and you could not wipe the smiles off their faces (including mine). Thanks again!!!
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

    Saw The Four Feathers.

My recommendation? Rent before buy, but I thought it was ok at the theater. I won't be owning it, however.

I told ya that Tempest had some serious horsepower under the hood just waiting to be unleashed!

Good on ya, Ron. After living with it for 6 weeks or so, what is the biggest benefit - deeper extension, more output, or the loss of boomy hump at 50 Hz. Or is a combo of all three?

I wasn't expecting the boom to go away (that was an unexpected but pleasant benefit), but I predicted the major improvement in deep extension would top your list.

Did you ever run that FR sweep with the burned CD mp3 files? Never heard back from you on that count.

Door #3 Doc. No more boomy hump, much lower extention and much more output. Never did run that FR sweep. I have it, just have not burned it onto a disk yet. Any free time I've had has been spent watching movies, which lately has been very little.
