I am looking to purchase a pair of Polk floorstanding speakers. My room is 14'x13' with 8 foot ceilings. The speakers will only be five feet apart due to space limitations. I have a Marantz MM9000 five channel amplifier rated at 150 watts per channel at eight ohms. I am not sure how it would do driving four ohm speakers, as I have gotten mixed feedback from users of this amp on various internet forums. I want a good pair of floorstanders that I can jam out to music with. I have a Velodyne SPL1200R to provide the bass. What Polk speakers would you choose?

What's your budget? I'd think about RTI-A9s as fronts and work from there for Home Theater...you've got power for those.
