I have the horizontal tweeters and I'm wondering what you guys think is best and why. Just looking for ways to improve them.

Did you do a search of the forums yet? If I remember correctly its been discussed and you should find some great info. on what you may want to do.
What your looking to do is probably a good idea but will take some planning.
Thats the best I can do for you but other probably will chime in. -
A few people have disabled one of the tweeters to take away the spacey sound. Play around with that and see if it helps improved your sound.
There was also one member who modified the cabinet to hold only one tweeter and reworked the crossover a bit, but that would be a whole different step. -

My SDA2's have the horizontal tweeters and when I used them as main / 2-channel speakers I thought the two tweeters "muddied up" the imaging. I liked them a lot better with the dimensional tweeter unplugged. I did not make any crossover changes.
In my current setup, the SDA2's have moved to surround speaker duty and I actually like the dimensional tweeter connected. I'm not sure I can give you a valid reason for it.
Probably the best recommendation is to just try it both ways. Without crossover modifications it's only a 10 - 15 minute change. If you like it better unplugged, then you can look at XO changes as possibly a further enhancement.Sony 60'' SXRD 1080p
