Burnt line-outs?

Had a little mishap the other day during a full-open acceleration. Somehow the +cable got yanked out of the distribution block. When I hooked it up again, I got hissing on all channels. Disconnected the RCA's from the amps and it was gone. Could the amps have drawn earth via the RCA's? Minus-cable was connected all the time, so I don't understand how this could have happened. And could my HU be scrap-metal, or is burnt line-outs fixable? HU is a Pioneer AVIC-HD3, so I kinda hope it's salvageable....
