that's pretty cool... how can we see the concert? Paul and Ringo should do some kind of world wide charity event.. so the whole world can see them as they are today. still rocking after 45+ years as musicians.
    PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

Paul looks a little flabby in his old age. I still think Ringo looks pretty cool. Good for them getting back together to do some charity work. Chris

They would need to add Elton John and Eric Clapton and do a Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band tour.

Clapton, McCartney, and Ringo were on stage together for the tribute for George after his passing. If you guys haven't seen it, the concert was great....especially "While My Guitar Gently Weep".

Yeah, Pete Best was their drummer, but it had a different name like Quarrymen or Silver Bugs or something like that.

LOL! Sorry about that trip-wire bro.:D I probably should have marked my sarcasm with a smiley.:)
I hate the fact that there are people who don't know who the Beatles were, becasue it confirms one thing: I'm getting f*(king OLD!!!

My reference was to a VERY obscure band in the 60's. They were John Bonhams favorite group, and the inspiration for his song, 'Moby Dick'

check youtube. i got lost in a bunch of stuff like this that i stumbled across several months ago. some of this concert is up and there should be enough similar performances and interviews there to keep you busy for a while.

Oh yes, one of the best concert DVD you can buy. With Dhani Harrison by Eric Clapton's side playing guitar during the concert, you'd think "Hey! That's George!". If I remember correctly, they had 3 drummers playing on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"....Ringo, Jim Keltner, and Ray Cooper.

Watch out for a cameo by Tom Hanks at the beginning of the concert.

I wish I looked half as good when I'm sixty-four.
I wonder what he thinks of Jagger and Richards?

Good point - But Ringo still looks 39 or so, at least in the picture. Chris

I read somewhere that Julian and Sean Lennon played together recently at a concert for the UN.....or was it for the Nobel Prizes?

Really, the surviving members of the Beatles and the Who should get together and form a group. I can see it now....ladies and gentlemen, the Wheatles!!
