    Which one?

The 1962 version which is an absolute classic masterpiece....or the 2004 remake? Well it is not exactly a remake. Demme's movie takes the basic premise of the original and makes it something totally different...which is good that he didn't try to copy the original...because he would have just failed. The 2004 movie is VERY politically driven IMO and takes lots of shots at the political climate of the day. It is an OK movie.

I own a copy of the original...I rented the remake. That about sums it up for me.
