Well, today marks the one month mark until my wedding. I didn't realize it until we were buying our wedding bands today.

I'll be leaving for the Bahamas on the 1st and getting married on the beach of Atlantis (Paradise Island) on May 4th.

It's my first so wish me luck. Only took 35 years to find a good one.

She actually likes the LSI better than the LS90's they replaced. See? I found a good one.

As far as the SDA's... good find man! You didn't have to offer to get us a wedding present but thanks!

Tim best wishes. I truly don't believe in divorce. To be blunt and straight to the point I hope you have spent time with the mom of the bride to be, and her family and friends. If things are good there then things are good. Marriage is no picnic, but can be one of the greatest things if you are one. I wish both of you the best.
    Congrats

I thank you for the good advice Ben.

One reason my first marriage is at 35 is because I feel the same way about divorce. It took a couple of decades of finding what I don't want to recognize and appreciate what I do want. I get along amazingly with both her family and her friends.
    Congrats, and my condolences :D

That's what I like to hear. It's nice to see a marriage that's lasted.
Good luck and best wishes, Tim. It sounds like you have a keeper. :)

Thank you for the warm wishes Mr. BBL. I have a sneaking suspicion that if I let CP guide my relationship decisions, the only thing that would keep me warm at night is a set of tubes.

    When's the Bachelor Party?

We decided it would be a good idea to have a joint party. Guys in the garage drinking booze and grilling with women folk in the house drinking wine and trading gifts. You're welcome to come if you're in the Fort Wayne area.

    Tim,

Waiting till 35 is a GREAT idea, I wish more people would think their choice out more and come to terms with themselves and what they need and want; because that would reduce the wear and tear on American "blended" families. I was 38 when I made my move. 16 years later and two kids...there is no end in sight. Never regretted a minute! If she's the one then enjoy the rest of your life together!

Bahamas...Great place. My Dad got married there and honeymooned as well.

    Congrats...

    Congrats sir,

You are very fortunate to find someone to share your life with. Solo can be very lonely for sure. Glad to hear you are anti-divorce. Too many marriages begin with divorce being an option if things get difficult. Try your best to truly understand and receive your vows that will be shared at the ceremony-take them seriously. Marriage is all about esteeming your wife above yourself. It is super important to make the change from being self minded as a single person to spouse minded as a married person. It works great as she will sense your giving heart and will respond in like kind. She is a gift and treat her as such. You truly are a blessed man.
