Need some advise. I've only used PP to buy, not sell. I was looking at their site and the FAQ's aren't very helpful. I'm trying to sell my SVS driver to another forum member. Do I just have him go to PP, log in, send money, enter my email address, for goods, and we're done? Where does the $$ go from there.
Sorry if this is dumb. TIA

Just give him your PayPal email address you have on file and use to login to your account, and have him send the funds. The funds will go into your PayPal account in which you can transfer it to whereever. Don't give him any other info besides your PayPal email addy. Be advised there will be like a 3% PayPal charge on the funds sent to you, just a heads up before you freak out.

As a future reference you can also send them an invoice all you need is their email address, then you fill in all the info price, shipping, what kind of product and paypal will send them an invoice that they can click on the link and send you the money.Sig to be updated after dealing with the insurance company:(:(:(

The fees schedule are pretty much layed out here.
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-fees-outside&nav=1.0.4
The bottom line is that if you have a personal account, your fees will be higher if the buy send you a payment via credit and you can only receive that type of payment 5 times during a 12 month period.
As other have stated. When selling using payal, it's best to invoice the buyer via requesting payment via paypal.Main Gear

Good info guys. I almost didn't post this thread but it seems to have been helpful to others besides myself.
