well i got the crossovers on my monitor 12s done, it was a lot less work than i thought it would be. the hardest part was lifting them up on the operating table. when i pulled the plate i said uh oh this could be trouble, but i looked at it for awhile and it all started to make sense, nothing to it. as far as sound goes all i can say is wow, huge improvement. this is my first xover rebuild, i wouldnt hesitate to do it again. thanks for everyones help, and thanks Ben for getting me started. next up, LSi7s and then the SDA CRS.

Congrats Bro. The XO mods bring even new speakers to a higher level. Glad I could be of assistance. I would do the CRS first. The LSI's are a real challenge.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I agree with Ben. The CRS would have a few more parts than the 12s, but is basically the same process.

The LSi7's should be fun. Except for the lack of space, they use the simplest and least amount of components out of the LSi series. All high quality film caps, resistors, and air core inductors should make an substantial difference.
