Why is it the forum search doesn't work anymore? When I first joined, this valuable tool worked great. Now I search for text that I know is in the first couple of posts and it comes up "no matches". For god sakes Subwoofer had no matches in every forum. Any help would be appreciated.

    try this.
    http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=subwoofer:polkaudio.forums.com&hl=en

Use google advanced search and enter " http://www.polkaudio.com/forums " in
" Search within a site or domain: "
That works better than the search here.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Yeah-its seems that search terms that are 3 characters or less or if they contain punctuation, will not work. Exactly what term did you use? "subwoofer" returns a whole slew of results for me.

I've given up on the board's search engine. Similar to what Ben suggested, I always put the following in my search terms in the standard Google or Live search field:
    site:www.polkaudio.com sda-srs

or for more than one term and to firce them both to be included
    site:www.polkaudio.com +sda +srs

    or for a phrase
    site:www.polkaudio.com "reference level"

I just typed in subwoofer and got 500 posts (the maximum number a search will list). If you are searching for sub...three letter words won't work you need to try something like sub*...which also netted 500 results.

It is either operator trouble (misspelled the word perhaps) or your system.
