I was looking, I might add unbelievably, at the Monster  Power Home Theater Reference PowerCenter (MP HTS1600) that is on sale at a local store.

I know MONSTER?!?!

This is a "Re-Newed" product with a sale price of a $130. This will be protecting a NEW (finally) dedicated 15 amp line for my tfm-45 with my "Renewed" SDA 2b's only. I also know that I do have line noise issues in this house but have not as yet be able to isolate the problem.

Thoughts and comments?

I was going to suggest the APC H15. It was on sale for $150 at Audioholics and $100 at Amazon, but it appears they are either sold out and/or the price is back up to $300 for the silver models.

    Oh well-sorry. :(

Dale I have that Monster HTS1600 Power Conditioner and although I like it simply for the peace of mind that it's protecting my equipment and I have had no issues with it so far.

I don't have any line noise or other issues where I live though so I'm not sure how much it will help you in your situation. It does have filtering and other features so it should definitely help but how much? Not sure.

If you really want to protect your equipment you should get a sine wave ups. They start in the low to mid $600 range and go up from there. Tripplite makes a very nice unit.

The reason I want to go with a ups is that you are protected from brown out's. If you live in CA you should know all about them from a few years ago.

What is the site? Audioadvisors.com doesn't seem to have a search and doesn't list that they are an authorized reseller for APC.

I tried audioadvisor.com as well in case you accidentaly added the 's', but they also don't appear to carry APC product.
Are you sure you didn't mean Audioholics?

Keep in mind that if you don't buy from an authorized dealer, you may not be getting a warranty. I'm not sure if APC has a policy about that with respect to warranties.

Audioholics is out of stock on the H15 and thier price is back up to $299.99
And Amazon (via Tiger Direct) has it back up to $199.99. The sale is apparently over but still discounted.
It's not avail for $99 anywhere (at least not from an auth dealer).

Yes, I meant Audioholics - not Audio Advisor. Sorry for the bad info.
