Issue with my Mitsu 65" DLP

The model is in my sig below.

Occasionally, I'll notice that the sides of my screen seem to..."flicker" or "shake". It doesn't happen because of anything that I can see, and it happens whether at the OSD for my Samsung BD-P1400 or during a movie, or even without any picture at all (at the blue "no picture" screen).

It starts, flickers/shakes for anywhere from a second or 2 to 10 seconds and then stops.

Anyone had experience with issues like this before?

I experienced something similar with my Samsung DLP before. It would do that when the guts needed to be cleaned and/or the bulb was on it's way out.

Well, i've had the tv for almost exactly a year now, so not sure if the bulb should be going out yet.

As far as the guts...is that something I can take care of? Are there other signs I can look for to see if the bulb is indeed going out?

I have a small access hole and vents I can vacuum. I would check out your owners manual.
