I've been able to find some info. about an RDO replacement? What are the benefits of the SL2000 replacement? If you have them, how do they sound? Hard to find? Thanks guys!

Just as a thank you, I wanted to let the board members know that you guys have been an invaluable resource for all my Polk reconstruction endevours. Thanks!
Here's what I've got (so far): Monitor 7, Monitor 10, RT400, and SDA2.

I'd really like to think about replacing those tweeters if the upgrades really are better.

You want the RD0194-1 to replace the SL2000. I just did it with my SDA set and will probably also do it with my 5b set. You will be amazed at the difference. I was skeptical, but not any longer.

From a sound standpoint, the RD0194 simply sounds more natural. The high end sounds are, for lack of a better decription, less metallic and much softer and richer.

I ordered mine from Polk customer/tech service. Call them and tell them you have SL2000 tweeters and want to replace them with RDO194-1 tweeters. They will know immediately what you want. Be careful, they don't try to send RD0198 as the terminals are different and they have an 8 ohm impedance rather than 4 ohm. Also tell them you are a club polk member for discount and free shipping. My cost was about $105 for the pair.
