lsi15 vs rti12 rti a9
I have rti150's. Im wanting to get new speakers that are cherry and not black. So My rti's are pretty much like the rti12, or pretty close. My main question is whats the sound difference in the lsi15 compared to the other speakers i listed? I dont want the lsi25 because Ill be getting seperate subs. Unless you all think the lsi25 will be better for 2 channel, I guess I could shut the subs off for 2 channel. But with the lsi25's they need a sub input so I would have to then split the signal 3 or 4 times depending on my sub set up.
Help me guys. I know you all have good input. The lsi seem to be cheap on alot of sights. but I really like the rtia9. I think in all I would like rtia9, csia6, and rtia7 for rears, since I also like multi channel stereo. Input please:)

I would go with your gut instincts and purchase the rtia9's for a multitude of reasons. The main one would be how well it would interact between the other speakers you have chosen. Then consider external amplification for the 2-channel only setup.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

+1 with treitz comment. If you can listen to the 12s and 15s side by side, that would also benefit you.Do you hear that buzzing noise?

The best advice is our own experience. Listen and decide for yourself.

I believe I have enough amplification for the rtia9's since I have an xpa5. But I have also been thinking about getting an xpa2 for the fronts or if I can get the cash together I really want 2 xpa1's. I have no way to listen to the two lines side by side because my frys only has the small lsi series book shelf speakers but does have the a9's. So, prolly go with a9's or rti12's if I can find some. If I get the 12's Ill use my rti150's for the rear towers. But eventually I would like a9's, a7's and csi a6. Then add the xpa2 or 2 xpa1's in with my xpa5. And to finish it off an awesome sub. Hopeing the emo dual subs will have good reviews or it will be SVS or Epik sub.
